Will I be able to install o/s 5.0 and will it effect the network lock

I have a blackberry tour 9630 TELUS and its unlocked. My O/S is 4.7...
will i be able to install this new o/s 5.0 and will it effect the network lock ? and also i have a problem in my current o/s even if i switch on the mass storage mode the desktop software says its not yet on..I cant transfer any of the media file from the computer because of this...any suggestion will be very helpful...

I know that if you install the new OS 5.0 that it will not effect your phone if it has been unlocked.

As far as the other issue, someone else here in the forums I'm sure will tell you.

What version of Desktop Manager are you using? Here is the current version if you need it.

Also turn mass storage on and then change auto turned to PROMPT

No I have a unlocked verizon phone that I flashed to cricket with working everything and I unlocked it today and it didn't affect my network lock code.
