Cant Find OS To Delete On Tour
Hi Guys I have a 9630 I recently upgraded to Sprint 5.0624
Its Horrible
I want to downgrade back to 484
I read the instructions to Downgrade OS
I went to add remove and i couldn't find OS 5.0
But I did find 4.7 Device Software
I wiped the Tour using BBSAK
And connected to DM
But i see that the newest update (The OS I no longer want) is there and i cant deselect the Box
Can someone tell me how to delete the OS Inside of DM
Because i still cant locate the OS in the Add/Remove Section of Winodws
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

The folder may still be showing inside the RIM folder. If you're running Vista it should be in this folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files

the OS is all of those files.
On your Win XP PC you need to go to control panel > uninstall program > and uninstall the BlackBerry Deviece Software from in there. If you try and delete the individual files you may be there some time and it will never get rid of everything.
I use CCleaner to unnstall my OS's between OS changes (and i do a lot).
Once that is done DM should not find any on your PC.
Also make sure you are NOT connected to the internet when you attach your device to the PC. It looks automatically for the newest OS it can use for your device, and you may be seeing that.
If you clean everything, run the install for the version you want, disconnect from the net and it should all go according to plan my friend.
Or if you cant see the actual program in control panel, reinstall it first, as it should be. Then you should be able to uninstall it.
PM me if you need any more help or leave a message here.
regards
