Thread: Can I put this OS on my friends Tour?

My friend has a 9630 with Sprint. I was wondering if I can put Verizon's 5.0.0.591 on it. Do I just have to delete the Vendor.xml file or something or is there more to it? Any ideas or help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

You can load any OS of any operator only if this OS is for a 9630. Don't worry, just delete the Vendor.

I actually had that OS on my Tour for the longest time and really had no issues with it except for the link clicking bug. I just loaded the most recent leak a few hours ago and I believe/feel its better then the 591.

I was not very happy with 591 and was seriously thinking of loading 484, but now I think I'll be trying the 643 as well.

.643 is outstanding! Browser is blazing fast (surfing and downloads) with no click issues on links. Still can't do scheduled quickpulls without an extra step, but other than that, it's incredible!
