Thread: Keep getting Provisioning Status Update Message with .230 on Sprint

Keep getting Provisioning Status Update Message with .230 on Sprint but nothing ever happens. It just sits there. If I select cancel it starts to cancel and just sits there.

I have done a search and cannot figure out why it happens. Just seems to every once in a while and twice today.

Any ideas? I know there are PRL issues with the Beta 5.0 os. Mine says version 0 like everyones seems too.

Sounds like an issue with your carrier.
Provisioning is part of the service books which are sent from your carrier.

Yep. Wondering if you anyone else on Sprint is having the issue.

Very odd to me. I've never seen it before running the 5.0 Beta. And didn't see it until last week really.

Yep the other day. Still got it twice today. Odd.

I just got it again. Seems to happen after I make a phone call.

Only way out is a soft reset every time.

I can't be the only one with this issue.

I had the same problem so I down graded 4.7

I have sprint and had the same issue After I would Get off a call, I would have to battery pull phone.Since I got a replacement I dont see that provisioning anymore. Im also running hybrid v11 or v12 .230 based and stopped running into that issue.

Yea I have the same freaking problem, drives me F-ing crazy.

Yeah. So the hybrid must fix it. It has the 4.7 radio stack I think.

Maybe that's the way to go. Thanks. It doesn't happen all the time but its annoying when it does!

Im on hybrid 7.12 and it still does it

I am on v 12 and I dont get it near as often as i did with v11 but still get it about once a day , but it does not affect the phone use just a quick battery pull and goes away .... but none the less still kidna annoying

Nevermind Just got provisioning message After a CAll,Sprint must be Working on system

Have you tried calling sprint and asking if or what they are doing?

No I haven't. Doubt it would help since I am on 5.0 and they won't support it anyway.

yea but asking if they are working on the system would at least tell you whats going on.. you can always tell them you are on 4.7

I just spoke with sprint tech support and they never heard of issue before yet told me to go let the phone provision and if issue persist call back and will do a trouble.

I let it sit for 30 minutes and nothing happened. It didn't even seem to be communicating at all with the servers.

sure did beat ya, I recommend you calling also cuz they tried to tell me it was only in my area but i told them it was going on in la and arizona its not a zip code based outage.
