This is the new homescreen. Rebuilt the dock from scratch, new task bar at the top. Large date and time is standard, no more small clocks. On the far right you can see the Stacks "drawer", this drawer includes live previews of whatever icons are actually placed in the Stack. These mini icons look great and will even support third party icons.
This is the Stack when it's opened. I've decided to implement "Grid View" this time around since it's more suited to a widescreen device. Scrolling is as expected, and no matter where you are in the Stack box, scrolling down will cycle out and back onto the dock quickly and easily.
I implemented the icons used on AppleBerry Dark for this new version, these are the high vibrancy icons which are about 50% brighter than traditional Mac OS icons. They look really great on the Tour. AppleBerry pioneered the mouse cursor on the application menu and it's going to carry forward to version 2.0, the icon highlight graphic is now "whiter" so that it's easier than ever to spot which icon you're selecting.
I know the dialog boxes look similar to previous versions of AppleBerry, but they were totally remade and are now pixel perfect representations of the Mac OS dialog boxes. The same goes for the buttons, I've implemented the Aqua style into these dialog buttons and they look and work excellent.
I took the time to remake the menus and have included the popular pin stripes that so many users loved on the original AppleBerry Glass for the Storm and 8900. It's a subtle effect but looks quite handsome on the device. Menu highlight colour will be lighter on actual release.
Super clean, crisp lock screen. Huge lock icon which was first popularized on AppleBerry Dark. Your lock text will appear in the open area above the dock.
