Not sure if this is a fix for the calendar problem but on my storm I have to focus on something else and wait for the calendar items to clear from the hidden today area and when I go back the calendar has updated.
Ok well I changed to seperate control and it did not change the home screen.. (Not sure if this is an instant change)
I rebooted(pulled battery out) and the msgs are now gone... Not sure which fixed it the setting change or the reboot... Ill test both out when I got extra time..
True, I have to do that also.

What did I do? Just as important, how to I fix it?
I read how to go to "options/theme" and highlight the theme I'm using then select "reset theme defaults". This did not work.
Please help, I really enjoyed not having to open up calendar.
Check and make sure your default email address is selected as your default calendar. Options>Advanced Options>Default Services

FYI - The "messages"button in the grey bar at the bottom pops up whatever emails I have in the main window.
Well... I wiped the device after backing up and synch-ing. Seems to be working now.
Thanks for the handy theme.
I particularly love the 6 next items in my calendar showing up in the main screen (I know there's a name for that feature). Also, the extra app in the top right corner and 5 extra links at the bottom of the main screen.
Now if only we could figure a way to make the sms / mms place all messages back and forth from the same person in a folder so the screen would be more organized when you get there. If that's confusing, I apologize. My former device (Palm Centro) made it that way and it was very clean and easy to look at compared to this OS.
Thanks again and if you already have a texter's dream theme, please let me know.
