from themes4bb i purchased the bb storm for tour theme. and had nothing but problems. i reset the phone 3x i uninstalled and re-installed. and the phone would work for a minute and then be completely frozen. from the home screen to the app screen. i couldnt scroll couldnt click on anything. couldnt see the highlight as if my trackball was dead. i couldnt even get to options to change the theme back. so i had to wait with my phone useless till i got to a computer to remove it. waste of $7.00

Wow thanks for the update Nicky :fing02: hopefully you will save someone else some money. A couple of things for you

1- have you tried emailing the company for a refund? It works 50% of the time for me.

2- next time this happens boot your phone in safe mode and you will be able to delete the theme, without having to wait to get to a pc

*safe mode*

pull out the battery and reinsert. When the red led turns off press and hold the escape key until your phone boots up and you get a message that you have booted in safe mode. Then from there delete the unwanted program how you normally would.

3- are you running the straight OS or one of the hybrids?

I also purchased the Storm theme. For me, it has been working great and I really like it. Here's a couple screen shots of it.

did you run any special settings? i love the theme. even tried downloading it one more time after i wrote my original post.. still same problems. am i missing something im on stock tour verizon os.

I'm running the Verizon OS, nothing fancy with mine. I just downloaded and installed it and it's worked okay for me. No special settings or anything like that. The only thing I do not like so far is that the clock is off centered. Other than that, it's been okay.

More themes... If you go over to CrackBerry and go to the Tour Themes section, elycruz0102 has some new themes up. Right now two of them. They are priced a lot better, too. Right now they are 99 cents. Wednesday night there should be weather versions of them, as well.

Here's some screen shots. This is the osX Tour Edition theme available here for 99 cents. This theme runs much smoother than the others I have tried.

I would like to see a theme developer offer a subscription service for themes. I see it this way, if I pay a certain fee, and the theme developer is the level that they make lots of different ideas and the themes are only available OTA then I would be happy to just load/unload themes as I go and sort of roll with it. Perhaps special custom tweaks as part of it. Of course I say this since I have no idea how to get Plazmic to work, and I buy themes all the time and until I got the Tour yesterday I really didn't ahve the room to spend on theme space.
