Thread: Finally themes for the Tour

Any word on how this was done. My guess is a hack into the 8900 export files. Or a beta Plazmic only they have...Hopefully we hear soon. Would love to get my themes on the tour!

I believe that they are using a version that we do not have access to. I started a thread talking about this very issue. But Bplay and Rim are 1 in the same.

has anyone tried to change the background on one of the animated themes? i picked one up and it changes the background for the app menu but the homescreen stays the same :lmao:

You have to hard code the animated background so you will not be able to change it. Unless this new Plazmic has new functions I do not know about.

Yeah the only ones that are available thus far have to be purchased.

But hey having to purchase one or two is a start and we had to wait a while for thoose

Has plazmic been updated yet? I haven't seen it show up on my computer yet! These are some pretty spend themes. I guess they better get it before we get a hold of the update!

nope still no updates but another site is posting their themes already,.. i tried to modd the 89xx custom files and no dice.

I read a report that the plazmic theme creator has been hacked to allow for the creation of Tour themes. Due to this hack, the phone incoming/outgoing screens are not skinned.

This is according to BB4themes.com.

They look like the stock theme. But what's weird. What ever I change the wallpaper. It also changes the app list background to the same.

You know...that's fine and dandy that there are finally themes for the Tour. However, if they are being created with a "hacked" version of plazmic, or a "hacked" version of another devices themes, with the limitations of the new themes, screens unable to be changed, they shouldn't be charging $7.00 for a theme.

Just my opinion!
