FREE 96XX Theme - BBZen Pro by Natemz - 8 colors
Zen, Zen, Zen....sometimes it's nice to roll back to the 'ol speedy Precision Zen theme isn't it? well maybe not. But the simplicity is nice! So I started customizing the Default Zen theme to my liking, complete with red icons. Then I added a couple more tweaks. Then a couple more. Next thing I know, I have started making my own version of Precision Zen...BBZen Pro.
This theme is a little different than what most of you theme junkies are used to. There are no fancy animations, no hidden docks and its not very wallpaper friendly. But that doesn't mean this baby isn't sexy. I replaced the default look with a glass like appearance. The home screen icons pulsate when highlighted and the screen transitions give it a continuous feel. BBZ is also pretty snappy. I really tried to keep the file size to a minimum. I added the normal weather slot in the banner along with and OCD slot. $ key Launches SMS and Spacebar launches QuickLaunch
So give this theme a tryout and let me know how it runs.
Please report all findings in this thread. And as always, do a battery pull after installation and allow the theme to settle in.

they dont show in themes
First, I came accross your themes last week and absolutely love them. These themes are amazing!!!
So I was pumped when of course you put out a new set.'
I can install the theme and it shows under applications, but when i go to themes to activate it, its not there, I tried the red and the purple...no luck.
I did do a battery pull as always, I have a Sprint Tour running 4.7 os.....hopefully these aren't just for 5.0 devices but i didnt see it say that.
Please let me know, Im fairly good with the BB so unless im missing something really basic I overlooked, im not sure what the deal is. All your other themes install fine for me!
Thanks in advance.
Sorry, yes 5.0 only. Time to upgrade!

So that being said I use some of your other themes...... like BB Pro v4...and I know v5 is os 5 only..... and v 4 works with 4.7....
Does BB Pro v4 also work with OS 5?....in other words do all your themes work with OS 5...and just some of these do not work with 4.7?
Thanks again for the quick reply and again....NICELY work!!!
I was wondering if the calendar appointments, say 3 or 4, would show up on the home screen of this theme?
I posted this last night in the 95XX forum (which is where I found the link to download the 9630 theme).
"Just tried the 96XX version looks great except when I try to open the browser I get "Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException" The phone froze and I had to do a battery pull. Fortunately my buddy Nate hooked me up with a great theme a few days ago, so I'll go back to that one. :hail:"
Ironically when I use your Pro v5 Premium Theme, there are no issues, and browser works just fine. I'm running Verizon's 18.104.22.1681 O/S. I tried to chime in at lunch-time but for some reason I can't log in to the forums from my Tour (apparently I have multiple issues ) . I wanted to make sure that I had the most current version so I sent my self the link (Zen Theme was active) in an email, browser functioned fine that way. I then tried the green version same thing, error & phone locks up. The Premium still working fine.
very nice work...i think that you can sell these themes and make some money...i am grad you are not because they rock....keep up the fantastic work...i look forward to your new themes,,,,
Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
I was hoping that 22.214.171.1243 would make the "Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException" error go away, no such luck though. I did figure out away to get around it, if anyone else is having the same problem.
1) If you open the BBOS mobile site from the application shortcut, then open forums or something, you can then open menu and click go to without any issues.
2) Easier yet, save your favorite web page to quick launch and from there you can use go to from the menu.
The browser works just fine as long as you don't try and open it with the browser icon.
