    social feeds redundant ?

Today I deleted the social feeds app which comes with OS 7.
I just couldn't figure it out & it didn't seem practical to Me
when there is a banner on my BB 9900 homescreen
that has all the message notifications right there
It drops down, & can go straight to the new message,
I can even read my bbm without opening the message
Which is cool if I anticipate a long convo I want to ignore, politely .
For me the message notification Banner is more pratical.

It's def nice to be able to preview a little snippet of the message. Some people like to push a ton of feeds through a social feeds app. So it becomes necessary when you have many at one time.

I agree I never used the social feed app I found it a bit cumbersome.
