Thread: Blackberry device not connecting to upgrade

Hello geeks

for some time now blackberry devices not been able to dictate update/upgrade software installed except if it connects online and fetch the software from their. This is not convenience because i have to go online every time i want to upgrade a blackberry. I normally download the upgrades and run any one from my computer, but for some time now this not possible.

Please anyone has a solution for this.

Sounds like you may need to first delete any older operating systems from your computer.

You mentioned that you run the downloaded OS on your computer right? But before doing that, have you tried deleting the old/previous OS installed on your? One of the golden rules in updating an OS is to delete the Device Software before installing the new OS..
