Removal of "Activation Required" at top of screen in BB Torch 9850. help needed urgently

Dial screen > ##000000 then press yes > Change "Mobile Directory Number" begin with your country code area but without a plus sign (+) > press menu then save > it will automatically reboot your phone, after turn on the activation require is replaced with your carrier.

this one don't work for me..i have a sprint version..

useful! btw do you think this would work on a 9930

I have the same problem of "Activation Required" display on top of my screen. Pls any more code for the sprint version?

For Sprint devices, it is a MSL code which you must get and can only get directly from Sprint. If you're not a Sprint customer, you are simply out of luck.
Don't buy Sprint devices for use out of the USA, or leave the Activation Required as is on the top of your screen.
