Thread: BlackBerry Storm3 Codenamed Monaco?

Remember the picture above of the rumored BlackBerry Storm3, well we can now add another rumor to it. It is rumored that the internal codename at RIM for the BlackBerry Storm3 is Monaco. There really has been no solid information out there about the BlackBerry Storm3. People were mistakenly calling the Storm2 refresh 9570 a Storm3, and the refresh has since died.

We have seen some rumored specs attached to the device pictured above, but nothing solid. I have to say one thing, it seems that RIM is keeping the doors tightly sealed in Waterloo because there have been really no credible leaks about any future BlackBerry device other than the BlackBerry PlayBook which was announced at DevCon 2010.

One other rumor not related to the Storm3, it appears that the hybrid Bold touchscreen device the 9900 is codenamed Montana.

What to you think about all the rumors or lack of credible rumors surrounding the BlackBerry Storm3?

Maybe they're actually preparing a killer device. A hands down winner.....maybe, haha. PLEEEASE RIM, pack this thing with some outstanding specs! I like the look on the outside

I agree with Basshunter, I am hoping this thing will be comparable with the devices out by other companies....RIM needs to come out with something powerful and gorgeous. They've got the gorgeous part down. Only question that remains are the specs and due date! I am ready to dump my 9700 and upgrade to the "Monaco", as long as it isn't a stupid slider and device and they omit the click-in screen bs that the current Storm has.

I'm reading in other forums that this picture maybe the next torch. I need a picture of the real storm 3. Hopefully before Christmas we can see some videos.
