    Dead torch

Hi Can anyone help - my torch died in mid text. The only thing showing is the red light which dies quickly.
I have connected to my pc and it finds the torch for approx 15 seconds but still only the red light. It then dies for about the same time - this just loops but nothing on screen. Just the red light light.

Any ideas - btw out of warranty by 5 weeks

Hi, would it be worth trying a new battery first as I checked it with a multimeter and it is completely flat despite having been fully charged a couple of hours before it died?

I am trying to follow the instructions for recovery but when I install the Desktop manager from the link on instructions there is no AppLoader tag. It reads:Program Files(x86)/Research In Motion/Blackberry Desktop: Then there is no AppLoader to open? Am I doing something wrong??

Have you installed the OS you want to load on your BlackBerry?

Did you look in this path as well: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader What operating system are you running?
