Thread: camera not working

i have bb torch 9800 and its camera not working . as i open camera it shows " could not start camera . close another applications and try open camera again."
all possible things did by me but i am helpless
plz help me out guys thanx

I have a few suggestions for you;

1.) Close all unused applications that you're not using (press and hold the BlackBerry button), go to the app(s) that are currently running.

2.) Try to clear out the device's Event Log by pressing Alt + LGLG, a window will come up, press the BlackBerry button, scroll down to Clear Log (Verify deletion of Event Log), click Delete, then Close the window.

3.) If camera and/or video are saved into the built-in memory, or most likely the external SDmicro memory card, check to see if camera is saving picture and/or video to proper area of memory card.

Note: A repair may be required to the memory card by clicking on "Repair" go to Options>Device>Storage click BlackBerry button scroll to Repair, choose Media Card (check Save lost Clusters).

4.) Perform a soft reboot on your BlackBerry Torch 9800 device, by pressing Alt+Shift+del at the same time, device will reboot.

5.) If after all of these suggestions, consider upgrading to the latest OS for your BlackBerry Torch 9800, which is available below;
