Thread: Please help me with a problem on my torch 9800

On certain apps that I install to my phone, when I try to open them, a message is displayed telling me that it doesn't work. Currently it has happened with three apps, all with the same message, and I don't know how many more it would happen with if I were to install them. I have installed other apps since the problem has begun and they have worked, so it isn't happening to all apps. I have tried numerous battery pulls, reinstalls of the apps, syncing my phone with my computer to see if it would fix itself. None of these have worked. If anyone has a solution to this problem, please let me know.

Specifications: The apps I've had trouble with so far are slider lock, touch, and tiggit controller for iTunes. My phone is running the latest version of OS 6 on the bell network in Canada. Attached are screenshots of the message that comes up when I try to open oneof those apps.

Seems that it has not installed properly in your BlackBerry Torch 9800.

Go through your BlackBerry's browser, and type www.touch.com/blackberry from their website directly.

It seems to fix the issue you are experiencing.

It didn't work, but thank you very much for the tip.

Post a screenshot of your available/used RAM. These apps are fairly memory hungry, and you may be running into a RAM crunch. You might want to get rid of some apps you don't use or need anymore.

I thought as much, you are probably running very low on RAM. You need to start shutting down applications when they are not being used, and delete apps that you do not use, or do not need. Until then, you will continue to run out of RAM, and new apps won't run.
