    choosing wifi over 3g

    when the torch connects to my house wifi, is there a way to us wifi to connect to the internet and not 3g to save data minutes etc.? I don't want to have to turn off the 3g, since the phone and other functions may not work.

    If I'm not mistaken, when connected to wifi, 3G is over ridden when surfing the net
