BlackBerry Torch -Dead on arrival :(
FedEx finally delivered my new Torch today; it looks like it's DOA. Won't turn on, and doesn't seem to be taking a charge ... the LED never lights up. I even tried the trick that worked on my old 9000 -- plug it into the wall without a battery in it -- but no go there, either.
Totally ruined my day. :17: I'm running to the AT&T store later this afternoon to see what they can do for me ... hopefully they don't shun me since I'm an enterprise customer!
They shouldn't have any problems with you being an enterprise customer! If they do, that's ridiculous..
Did you order it from AT&T's website? If so, and you got the warranty, it should be a quick "Let me take that, here you go" switch out.
Let us know how it goes! I'd be very, very, very, very, very (You get the point lol!) upset if something like that happened to me as well.
Just got back from the store .... whew! They started to give me a little grief since my account was marked something along the lines of "not serviceable from a retail location", but once I asked them if they'd still give me a hard time if I was a big-boobed girl like the one in front of me that had FOUR reps helping her replace her iPhone, they backed down quickly.
Now off to install all my apps!

Now, did they let you keep the dead one? If so, I can revive it lmfao! :P Just kidding.. hehe..
That's freakin funny, I'm gonna try that the next time they give me a hard time. (which is every time)
