Thread: Very Impressed!

I just setup my coworkers torch and I'm very very impressed on first impression. I'm a storm 2 owner and this thing puts that device to shame!

The typing on that thing is just like an iphone, so smoothhh!

Also wanted to comment that if you drop this I can totally see it coming apart. Blackberry's can take some beatings but be careful with this one!

So many people have a torch at my school one person dropped it on concrete and he's 6feet tall and the phone received no damage also to note he had no protection on it :P

For sure, BlackBerrys are one phone that can take a beating. I've had some big drops with my Storm 2 and Bold 9650, both times only came away with a scratch.

Yep. My 8520 has seen so many drops I forgot how many, and the only 'broken' thing is that the trackpad is a teeeny bit chipped

My 9700 was dropped so many times the housing looks like some new chipped model. (H)

I now use a Torch. I hear people saying they are afraid of the 'flex cable'. I haven't heard any Torch owner complain about the flex cable being damaged so I will keep using my Torch until hopefully I won't be having a new chipped model housing hehe

I love the chip models. Sell for big money. It's like buying already torn up pants.

I need more memory for my Torch any suggestions

Delete some apps and make some room.
Thats about the only way to get more memory.

You can try a Memory Cleaning App, but non have ever worked for me.
