I Got the 7.1 Version on my P.C But I'm Worried about Loading it Because Att hasent Realesed it So what is Vendor in apploader and why do I have to Delete it in Order to Load 7.1. Will it mess with AT&T

You have nothing to worry about. All OS versions for the 9810 device are compatible no matter what carrier you are with. The vendor.xml file simply ties that particular OS to that carrier. So deleting it will allow you to install that particular OS to any carrier.

So will I Lose AT&T Family Maps and AT&T Navigsator

You shouldn't as I have Verizon and I didn't lose my Verizon apps. You can always revert back to your prior OS if you encounter issues.

All mine came back as well Joe and I'm on AT&T. Always remember to backup device with Desktop Manager before you do any upgrade.

So I Tried updating it Last Night I Got as Far as Deleting the Vendor XML. Ran the Loader as administator and the Set-up Wizard Coudnt Find my Pin# This is my 3rd 9810 that I Backup & Restored on my PC so maybe its Cluttered it Couldn't Find my pin and there's a Box. You can Check so it will Search But it Wouldn't let me Check the Box what do I do know

So I Tried To Load 7.1 Last Night and I Deleted the Vendor XML Went to Loader Run administrator and the Set-up Wizard Couldnt Find my PIN#? This is My 3rd 9810 From at&T That I,ve Back-up and Restored on this Computer Could There Bea Problem is there a Way to Clean it So it Can Find My Pin? There was an option in the Wizard to Check a Box and it would Search for it But I Couldnt Check the Box

Assuming that you have BlackBerry Desktop Manager software installed version 7.0.0, OS7.1 installed, removed the vendor.xml file(s).

Try rebooting your Windows PC, start DM, connect your BlackBerry Torch 9810 via USB, and wait for the upgrade notification.

Hello,When I installed DM 7, I found it was a bit sluggish at first in recognizing my PIN. After a couple of reboots of my PC, DM 7 started to respond as it should when my phone was connected via usb.Cheers

I Got everything Back to Normal I don't want to install O.S 7.1 until AT&T approves it Because if Load it now it will Void my Warranty

Installing OS7.1 for your BlackBerry Torch 9810 will not void your warranty.

As for AT&T, it's going to be awhile before they release it.

I've Tried and Tried and Tried To Load O.S 7.1 on my Torch 9810 I,ve Looked for more Vendor Files Nothing I've Must of Tried about 10 Time When I Get to the Part Were its Gonna Load the New Software on the Wizard Everythings There Except 7.1 , know Thers never been an older Version Loaded on my P.C Like the ine I Have Know its in DT Manager but not in my contral Panel HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You did mention you deleted the vendor.xml files, I used app to delete vendor files and even BBH tool also. However it still wouldn't install for me. Only after following Joes Jerder's post and doing a manual search, only then did another vendor file pop up, after removing this file mine updated.

Delete both vendor.xml file(s)
