Thread: Can't upgrade OS

So I haven't been able to upgrade my Torch 2 9810's OS in a while now because the DM just doesn't recognize the update. I've uninstalled all previous older OSes, I've deleted every vendor.xml file I could possibly find and still nothing.

I'm gonna try uninstalling the DM and reinstalling it and see if that helps but I'm fairly stumped. Any other ideas?

Make sure on the Uninstall Options window, select the Remove all user settings for BlackBerry Desktop Software check box. Also try plugging your blackberry into the rear or different ports than you normally would.

It is very simple, with the new OS 7s, after you delete the Vendor.xml file and then launch loader.exe, keep watching that folder, you will noticed that within seconds, the vendor.xml file has magically reappeared, just delete it, close loader.exe and launch it again, this time it wont be resurrected again and you can upgrade

It was merely a suggestion no need for the extra comment.

I've tried everything; still unable to upgrade to newer OS. I am considering wiping it once I have free time. Cuz my OS 7.0.0.353 frequently freezes.
