MY Torch 9810 Drops call
I have an AT&T branded Torch 2 Blackberry and I use it on Airtel network in Zambia. But I have been experiencing dropping of almost all the calls from the first day I started using it. I would say sometimes it works but often times the calls drops after some few minutes of picking or making them. I hope someone from RIM is reading this post and please take it seriously.
It could be a network problem. To confirm this, insert the SIM card into another phone and try making calls with it.
Make sure you have not installed the app, Powerboss from the Jared Co. My 9930 did the same thing until I uninstalled that app.
I would double check with AT&T to see if they have been having issues in Zambia. If they have not been having problems, try this; with the torch on, pull the battery and let it sit for a minute or two. Reinstall the battery and see if the issue continues. Sometimes a battery pull is needed to rearrange files, like rebooting your PC. Like many computer techs say, "when in doubt, reboot."
