Thread: Video: Torch 2 demoed (again)

In case you missed the first video demo of the upcoming Torch 2 device, here is another from Engadget with their take on the device. They go through the routine, showing you a few native apps and the functionality of OS 7, as well as the look and feel of the device. none unless the phones are more like the playbook. All of them are basically the same only changes in gui an speed buh not really capability, need some high graphically gaming for me to get a new one until den ill stick with my storm an 9700

I'm curious to know if OS 7, or perhaps the rumored OS 7.5 will get the Android player. If so, it will take care of any gaming concerns.

RIM needs to entice developers more with incentives. The upcoming devices will be plenty powerful to play any game the iPhone/Android can, it's just a matter of getting the devs to develop for App World.

If RIM doesn't find a way to regain it's marketshare, I'm quite certain that it'll go down the same road as Palm.

That is going to be hard to regain in the US. There is a lot of negative feedback when bringing up RIM in a tech store. Seems like everyone I talk to used to be a BB user now gone to iPhone or Android.

With the introduction of iOS 5 today I'd be working overtime to get that 9900 device out if I were RIM.
