Free Theme - 9700/8900/9630 OS 5.0 - Smooth Operator
Theme Thursday is was a column that was created back in March and has now be selected to resume posting. For those who do not remember, Theme Thursday is a weekly publishing where each week I will be reviewing free or cheap themes. Today being the first week back, I can honestly said I was slightly unprepared. Since I do not have a new fresh theme ready for all of you, I have decided to resurrect an old theme. Its an oldy, but a goody.
Before we get to this theme I would first like to say how I appreciate theme designers. From now on, each Thursday I will be picking one theme for an extensive review. I will be picking themes that are free or very cheap. Each week I will rotate my selection of themes, and today my review is based on a Dark Carbon free theme. Without further rambling, here is the Smooth Operator theme for OS 5.0 devices 9700/8900/9630/9650. This theme is a great one! It was created for me by a good friend, @Ninja_Says, and I have decided to share it with all of you. Ninja_says is a great guy and worked with me from start to finish on the creation of this theme. The best part of this theme is the price, FREE.
Have you ever found a theme you absolutely love, however its just missing one small thing? Well not with this theme! This theme is very practical and user friendly. Smooth Operator has so many different aspects to its design, however it comes together like a masterpiece. Just looking at the front page you can see the many added features.
The Large Centered Clock, 7 Slot Bottom Dock, Weather/Meterberry Slot and Hotkeys some of the great features to this Theme. I personally love the 7th slot on the bottom dock. Most themes made only include the generic 6 slots. If you are like me, you probably run so many apps that it is too hard to chose a top 6. Having that 7th slot helps alot. The $ hotkey is another Jrod favorite. How many times have you needed to get into your status screen? Its kind of annoying to click all the way to it, the $ lets you skip straight to the Status menu. Lastly are the animations! While navigating around the theme there are alot of small things that make me smile, including the animated motion of the menus and pop-up windows.

This theme was made very simple, smooth and practical.
