Simulator 9700/9780

I'm a noob when it comes to this, please help !

I want to create themes with themestudio 6 for my blackberry 9780 but only have 9700 os6 simulator.
Can i use it or do i need the 9780 simulator ?

Themes created for the 9700 and OS6 are also compatible with the 9780 OS6, so there is no need for the 9870 simulator in your case.

In any other situation I would agree with Joe, however, when it comes to the 9780 I would have to disagree because that particular device has given me troubles in the past. I've had problems myself with a theme rendering perfectly on 9650 and 9700 simulators, only to have the theme render very badly on a 9780. Primarily where fonts are concerned.

To be on the safe side, since Theme Builder 6 is riddled with bugs, I would recommend getting the 9780 simulator just for peace of mind ;)
