Hey Jason - sorry for the late response! I don't mind if you want to use the email confirmation, but I would just ask if you could block out my complete name please. The reason you may have not been successful with Asurion, is because you've been replacing them with VZW. I have been getting my storm replacements thru Asurion from the beginning. I think that is why they may have made the exception in my case to replace with a new Storm 2. I only paid the 50 dollar deductible the 1st time. All other replacements have been at no cost, including my new Storm 2.

Thanks man, I never got back in touch with them today since I hadn't heard from you and that is fine, I'll block out the entire thing other than the part they need to see anyway. And you're probably right, but apparently I'd have had to nuked my phone just to get them to honor a claim anyway. They agreed to send me a new Storm1 for the deductible of $89, but for the issues I'm having, I'll just take it back into VZW and get a refurb AGAIN for free before I pay that. Phone works 75% of the time I estimate, so I won't be paying that deductible for the exact same device until she shuts down on me for good, if/when that happens. I can't decide whether to just cancel my claim with them or press on and keep persisting, hoping to get a more generous rep when I call back. The last one said they couldn't do that, but it clearly states in their brochure 'rules and guidelines' that at their option they could replace with a similar/like device at their so choosing, so it isn't as foreign a concept as the lady made it out to be. I appreciate the reply and probably won't even mess with it anymore until my phone dies completely, but if I happen to you can be rest assured I'll just cut out the part that shows current/replacement devices. Thanks again.

Got home today and I have the flyer in the mail...would have liked the email and I could have been there 3 days ago.

I just called VZW using the email flier and i will get my Storm 2 by Tuesday for 179.00 early upgrade. Yeah Baby.
