Me to ill sign another contract
I love my Storm1 but if they are giving away the Storm2 ill take it
IF this is true... that is enuff for me to fall off the fence back to the S2 side... (ill get a droid later)
if thats the case then i am calling or going in cause my storm1 was ok until this update even with leaked os was good but now my emails stop coming through every few days and my vibrate won't quit at times when i get a text.......oh and the camera quit working it would load but when i clicked the camera button it wouldnt take a picture. a battery pull fixes everything but i was not having these problems before i updated to the OFFICIAL POS
I cannot believe that ANY business is gonna just give away stuff.
did anyone that received a s2 as a replacement for the s1 did they give you paperwork showing this and could you take a picture and upload it.
this is not something big red would do...but if it is i'm about to go there first thing in the morning..my storm1 screen sticks sometimes and double types...
I would like to get facts from people. That got the so called replacement/upgrade. When I go in there or call I want to know what I am talking about cause I have three blackberry lines of which 2 are storms that is a lot of money per contract and Big Red can help me out on my S1. I just want to know what people were complaining of cause I don't want to sound like I am fishing around for a reason to get a replacement.
I doubt it...I called 3 times on launch day and no luck...:(
This may sound crazy....but at this point I don't know that I would upgrade to a Storm2....
I was a little chapped when Storm2 came out and wanted to be able to dump my Storm1 and get the newest and greatest, but with some of the comments from those that did upgrade, I'm not sure how much of an "upgrade" it really is.....
I'm tempted to hold off and look at the Droid a little closer and maybe leave Blackberry all together...
Interesting if Verizon does do something like this though....very out of character for them....
There's only one way to find out if walking in to your Verizon store and claim it is defective will get you a Storm 2. Do it! Wake up in the morning and give it a shot. What's the worse that can happen? They say no? Either they say no or you walk out with a Storm 2. Let us know how it goes.
Ill give it a try...
yeah i think i will to..won't hurt to try..all you can do is gain..whether its a S2 or just a replace S1...
me too....:-D...ive had 4 replaced so its worth a try. vzw store is literally 1 minute from my house
if i get declined i ll be waiting for my 100 ne2 jan 10
Its a rumor that may have some validity. But I dont think you will see it until BOGO is over.....
I'm sure, if Verizon decides to help the S1 owners by giving an S2 to them, there will b the rules and situations the S1 owners must fall into. Like for example, they must have a history of having S1 replaced, or instead of having to pay a full price or a 1yr price, they can upgrade for the same 2yr pricing but the mail-in-rebate will b over by then, making the 2yr pricing for $279.
****Previous statement is only an assumption, not actual facts****
Any idea as to wat the rules and regulations would b? That's wat I'm interested in. I wanna know the rules and regulations so I can know if this is something I would b eligible for, that way I can return the S2 I got today, and wait till the end of November. But if I don't fall into S1 owners that would b eligible for this opportunity then I don't wanna waste my time returning the phone.
