hello all,
I just got this issue resolved, and i wanted to share with you all.
I was having the same issue as most were with quickpull giving you a message that "something went wrong and quickpull is aborting"
my company uses appriver for bes service. i called appriver and explained to them that i needed to be able to set all permissions to "allow", and security timer reset was set to deny and was greyed out.
below is the steps i sent them in an email.
Options > Applications > select Core in the drop down > Highlight BB 5.0 core Apps and hit Menu key > Edit Permissions > expand Interactions > Security Timer Reset needs to be able to be set to - Allow... currently it is greyed out and set to Deny.
they fixed this for me in about 10 minutes, and all is grand in my blackberry world!!!!! here is what your bes admin needs to do:
they need to change your it policy to allow this option.
it was as simple as that.
i hope this helps anyone with this issue.
p.s. before you ask......I tried to remove the sample pics using maxmem with NO success. hey, 1 out of 2 ain't bad![]()
