Thread: Deleting Emails

Hey Guys and Gals,

I have a storm that I just upgraded to the 5.0 software and now it will not let me delete email prior to the date I installed it. WTF???? Any suggestions?

hmm that is odd mine is fine. have you tried a good old battery pull and see if that gets it?

Also check to see if the timestamps on the messages have been changed. Each OS update I've done on my Storm caused the timestamp on messages before the upgrade to be shown as the messages having been recieved in the future and I was unable to delete them using delete all until the future day arrived. Lol. Of course I was still able to delete them 1 at a time though.

Looked at that and the message is actually dated in the past. They just refuse to be deleted, but i can delete stuff from today and yesterday, just not the day before...or the day before that.

If you really wanted them gone, you could use the advanced restore tool in DM to clear the entire messages database. But this will delete every message you have.
