I use elle...and it works, other then the white bars after a reboot. i just BB key from apps screen, options, click Theme Defaults, select layout, OK. no whitebars till next reboot

The problem for me is I use wallpaper changer and everytime the wallpaper changes it reverts back to the white bars. I an sticking with the original theme for now. It doesn't happen with that one.

There is no definitive fix, you must first change the wallpaper in the options screen, then change your layout and save. Change back to 2 rows and save. And this will fix it until you reboot.
