i recently discovered that otterbox came out with a 2nd version, making it easyer to hit buttons on the sides of the screen.
i emailed ther customer service.... 3 minutes later, and 4 emails i get another email saying the replacement is on the way!
i didnt have to prove anything, bought it off ebay and they still honered a replacemant, i'm amazed go otterbox!
Same here. Asked, and they have shipped out the new version at no cost to me. Really great customer service....
So you bought a case off of ebay, and otterbox is made a new case and now they are sending it to you for free? Damn!

That is the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!they are shipping me out a new one today. I also bought mine on Ebay and i told them that, and they said that was no problem!!!Too bad all businesses are not like that.
I also picked up a case on Ebay a month or two ago and finally ripped the screen cover out and dremeled out the speaker and mic openings then heard about the second design. Sent an email asking about it and they told me no problem. UPS should be dropping it off this thursday. They truly are an incredible company to do business with.
dont get to excited. it's the same case. all they did was cut open the sides taking away any dust protection you were expecting.
My biggest complaint is/was that it's very hard to hear your callers in a loud enviroment as well as your voice been very muffled.
if you need a good tough case it's second to none however it's far from perfect.
As a storm owner I'm starting to get used to products that aren't ready, getting rushed out.
