Thread: Folder Icons

Wish there was a way to get different folder icons. Is this possible?

There is a way to change the email icons, but I don't know about folders.

you can change them but they only work on the stock theme

Highlight a folder, hit the menu button, edit folder, then when the screen appears to edit, click the folder icon,and a list of options for different folders comes up. Pick one,and save!

i think the OP was talking about "custom" icons and not the ones already loaded...but i could be wrong.

Here is the link for the email icon change tutorial, however if you skip step one and go to step 2 for saving icons to your SDcard you can then load your own icons through the couple of steps Spector5 mentioned in post #4. The down side is you can only change the factory folders - Applications, Downloads, Setup, Games and any folders you manually create yourself.
