Thread: Help installing v5.0.0.230 on my Storm

This is my first time here and first post, and after speaking with my BB friend he suggested the .230 so can someone please throughly walk me thru how to upgrade from 4.7.0.148 to the 5.0.230. I am not sure how to do this stuff. I just did a backup so now what?

ok do u have .230 already installed on your computer if not download it . if u do go to app loader or desktop manager it should find the update for u as soon as you plug your phone in . if not go to update software tick the os click next and add or remove all the featurs you want choose next . then next again wait about 30 minutes and you are good to go. i hope that helps if you need any further help e-mail me at jdmoore81@gmail.com

lol how do I download to computer? I don't even know where to look for it at

After you install go to add/remove programs and remove the rim tools folder. I' ll be back.

hey guys whats up?, gotta say i love the new 5.0 os on my storm but everytime i load up any 5.0 os my browser is only wap!!! Huge deal for me and i have no idea how to fix it can anybody out there toss me some advice? Thanks oh and im with sasktel if that means anything...
