Thread: need parts

hi every one i was changing ma storm housing when by accident cut the coaxial wire that conects the speaker to the main board, so my question is if there is anywhere to get that wire or any store when i can buy it...
im not with vz thats why i dont want to take the phone to their store to make the repair

wonder if somebody have a link or a suggestion

you would probably need to check ebay and see if someone is selling one for parts only just to keep the cost down

You might want to try the peeps over at Horizon Wireless if youre looking to have someone fix it. You will have to ship them your phone and the turnaround time is pretty good.

i really don't have a guess for you.

you could call and see what they say. if it is over 50 bucks you can always use your insurance and get another for 50 bucks (assuming you have insurance)

As others have stated here Horizon Wireless is probably your best bet. Give them a call and see what they can do.

my big worrie now is that i have to wait to continue playing with that hybrid v1

Maybe try here GSM4World If you don't see it, ask them.

Have you tried repairing it yourself? A cut wire can't be too difficult.

ya that should do it..im not sure what kind of wire it is but if its just the wire that goes to speaker. should just be a high guage speaker wire. if so you can ghetto fix it with electrical tape lol or like scooter said solder gun will do it as long as you dont drip solder on the board

is a coaxial cable, and believe me i have tried already, but there is no way to fix it, or i cant figured out how yet

i made one myself, using recommended tools here plus a piece of home phone cable,
i think i made a good clone
