    VZW - Messenger 5.0

    Anyone get the VZW BBM 5.0 yet? I thought it was coming out today 10/07/09 straight from VZW?

    I can't help but laugh at all the anticipation about BBM5 especially since RIM never said it was being released today. It was 1 of those trusty "Ninjas" that always leaks info.

    go to the search icon at the bottom of app world, type in blackberry messenger. It 'should' pull up a bunch of apps, click on BBM and that will

    I was gonna say, it's only a matter of time before it becomes #1..lol. U know wat's the best reaction? Those that don't install leaks, or didn't know about future RIM plans, basically those that rn't on any type of BB forums...seeing what the new BBM can do. I installed it on my coworkers phone and she is all crazy about it now.

    Have you tried uninstalling it, rebooting and then installing again through App world?

    I had the same problem when I installed the new BBM, and I did the same thim Natemz said, and it works fine. IDK y it's doing that but it deleted all my contacts so when I reinstalled it through App world it worked fine.

    Also, for those that doesn't have App world installed or are having problems through App world try going to http://mobile.blackberry.com from ur phone and under the section of What's New there's a link for the new BBM

    I got it working I reinstalled .230 and downloaded it again it works great now.
    I think what happened is that both bbm's were on the storm at the same time when I reinstalled .230 it showed both 5.0 and 4.7 messenger on there.
