Thread: Substitute for Meterberry on 230

Does anyone know of an ap which can replace meterberry (which won't work on 230) - thanks

There is an app called memory eye, which will keep track of your memory and also allow you to soft reset your phone. It is not as complete as meterberry but it is a nice application.

Or if you have VZW as your provider, you could just manually reset your Storm by doing a simple procedure:
Dial ##000000
Send
For password:VZW
BB button:highlight save and click.

That's an interesting little trick. Seems to work, thanks.

when i do that trick it takes me to the CDMA service edit screen. i dont see an option for a password. i am on vzw. is that normal?

I just tried it myself and there was no option for a password. I too am on Verizon.

Scroll down about half way down the page or so. You will see an email address that end @vzw (or something like that). Below that there is a blank for password. Enter it in there and it will auto reboot
