Thread: No SMS with 230?

I originally loaded the 230 over the 190 and had issues with a white screen when I attempted to send someone a text. I wiped and loaded the full 230 exe. file and still have the same problem?
I can respond to an incoming SMS text but I cannot start one. Any ideas?

have you tried not restoring the back up and seeing if it works then?

One of my friends had this issue. The way he tried to SMS people was:

1) Go to Contacts, search for name, click SMS <person>.

It would more or less fail with that white screen issue. I don't have the problem, but it's probably back up oriented as stated.


Do this instead:

1) Go to SMS or Messages.

2) Compose -> SMS Text

3) Search for person's name using the new prompt and hit OK

4) Voila!
