I don't know about you but I have been incredibly frustrated with the Google Maps application not being able to find the GPS.
I am happy to inform you that this seems to be rectified with the installation of 5.0.0.230!!!!

Interesting.
I just installed 5.0.230, went to google.com/maps and it prompted to install 3.0.2
It installed and it didn't install the Storm version. It's asking me to press 0 to show my location. When I had 4.7 the Storm version of GMM had a button to press to show my location.
Where did you install yours from?

Nah it still doesn't work quite right. The GPS locks in on your location. However the application its self doesn't work right. You can't use the menus so you can't exit out properly.
Yep, exactly.
With compatibility mode on the keyboard takes up 1/2 the screen, and without it I just have to press the BB button to get the menu.
Either way it doesn't matter - gmm only gets me to 400m, which I guess is closer than it was on os 4.7 (1.2km). Then again, I also have the gpsOne settings enabled so maybe that's a factor. I dunno.
