Thread: Which Weather App works best with 5.0

Can someone tell me which weather applications works with the 5.0. Iam getting tired of going thru the options menu on the application menu and selecting 3 rows then save then going back to it and selecting 2 rows again and saving. Thats alot of saving. I would really like to hear some feedback on this and is someone working on this issue like they did with the IM 5.0. Thanks.

Have you actually tried using Weather Eye on the latest 5.0 OS... .230?

I've had issues with all of them (Weather Eye included).

I have not tried weather eye, but I would recommend Simple Weather. I have had no issues and I am running .230

I have berry weather.. and have not had trouble with it.. I have heard the homescreen icon doesnt update but I dont use it.. I always go into the app. I love the app overall and the gps is much better on .230 wiht berry weather and they have a 3 day trial if you want to give it a go

It doesn't update on the home screen. The app itself works fine and the text next to the home screen icon updates ( conditions and temperature), but the icon does not change and the temperature badge does not update.

ohh ok.. I just never use it. lol I am a memory freak so I log out when i am not using it... somehow I still get the advisories though... or was I logged in... dont remember but i always open the app for the weather.. homescreen icon gives me the same as me looking out a window lmao

BerryWeather is still the best weather app you can get! Like these guys have said it works great!
Bellshare is working on a fix but it would sure be easier if we could get a leak for the 9500! Hard to test a 5.0 issue without the firmware.

bbweather works great for my needs.

my wifes simple weather has been updating in the home screen if they could get weatherbug elite to work i would be happy

My berry weather works with 5.0.0.230. My icon updates the temperature. I just do not reboot the phone because the icon turns into a red umbrella. Overall I don't have any problems. I don't use the banner weather with this program

Weatherbug APP works, but as with the others... the icon does NOT update. All other app aspects work fine. I still use it, i jus hate having to open it everytime...

This is kind of a Rube Goldberg method, but if you run (or rather, try to run) Quickpull Lite, once you get the error message, close it and return to your homescreen. You will find that the Berryweather icon has been updated. Also, on my phone anyway, it's only the homescreen icon that doesn't update. When you hit options, to pull up all your icons, that icon displays and updates properly. Also when it's in landscape.

weather eye is working perfectly on my storm with 230.....
