Browser Issues on 5.0.0.230

Ok, strange thing starting happening after I installed the new FB and MS apps tonight. Now I only get white screens for any website I attempt to go to in my browser.

If I go to a direct link for a download it will pop up and ask to save it. Other pages also show loading and the kb transfer but nothing ever shows up its just blank.

I have tried clearing all the cache and temporary files, done 2 battery pulls... Still no go.

Any ideas on what may have happened or how I can fix this? I use my browser to get override codes during the day for my employees.

My suggestion would be to delete FB and MS, do a battery pull and see if your browser work.

Still no go... Doesn't make sense. It acts like it's loading but nothing visible. I haven't changed any other settings. I've tried registering the HRT again just in case... I'm drawing a blank on what to do...

Did you try logging into BIS and resending service books from there?

Yes, that didn't work either. I have no other 3rd party apps accept VVM and Ubertwitter on here either. Both worked fine and the browser had been working. Doesn't make sense that if I go to a direct download link it will allow me to download and install the app but no images show up and you can't view any other sites. I've tried multiple different sites as well obviously; bb home page, bbos, msn, facebook, etc etc...

UPDATE: Not sure what it was, I used AppLoader to reinstall 230, reinstalled FB and MS and everything is functioning fine now. Thanks for your help though!

I've just started having these browser issues as well.

I've been running full .230 without any problems until yesterday.

I've done everything like the OP, and still no dice.:confused:

I'm going to try another wipe and reload and see if that helps.

hey i made a thread about this to. seems a reload fixes it. that fixed it for me. i didn't wipe just uninstall ed 230 deleted the loader files folder and reinstalled. shrunk and loaded and it worked again.

Finally got my browser up and running.
Virtually uninstalled everything app wise and OS wise.... wiped my Storm twice (via BBSAK).... installed a fresh OS .230, and then install 3rd. party apps one by one.

This seems to help quite a bit with the browser issues that I was having.

Everything is running like a top (even after shrink).
So far so good. ;)
