QuickLaunch Device Reset "FIX" for os .230

I think I've found a fix for the device reset option in QuickLaunch!

    1. Make sure all permissions are set to allow in QL

    2. Make sure all permissions are set to allow in email settings.

Options>Applications>select Core from the drop down menu>click on Email Setup Applications>set all permissions to allow>Save.

At this point I was able to reset my device from the QL options, and I haven't been able to do that for a month since installing OS 5.0.xxx.

I am on my third reset and have not had any error messages!

I'm a happy camper!!! I hope this works for others as well!!

Highlight quick launch, hit blackberry key, click on edit default permissions I put all mine to allow and quicklaunch reset works.

    I hope I haven't unlocked too much.

I had QL set to allow all permissions, it was the email settings that made the differance for me!

Try this.....delete the reset option in QL . Double check settings in both QL and email settings, make sure to save after setting all to allow. Battery pull, then set up the reset option in QL and try it again.

Your Welcome, glad it worked for you. I was hoping it would for all Storm users, but that may not be the case! :17:
