QuickLaunch Device Reset "FIX" for os .230

Works for me as well, but that makes more steps then using memory eye.....guess I'll stick with that for now.....

My question to those that have had the QL reset work for them..... did you happen to have Quick Pull installed on their Storm?

While I had it installed... the QL reset worked... uninstalled... no joy. Tried it three times (seems to be the reasonable amount).

Not sure about others, but I don't have quickpull installed & quicklaunch's reset device works for me.

OK...lemme throw another little tidbit y'alls way.

I deleted "quick search w/ google"....deleted app world....because actually MemoryEye does work quickly and easily, without having to restore "quick search w/ google" each time. That being said, I tried QL device reset, and, of course, it did not work...BUT, it did do something....it restored my homescreen, AND updated my berryweather icon !!!!...this is easier than moving BerryWeather, and then having to move it back !! Check that out !!

lol, yeah I've been using that hack for a few days now. It works good and is a little faster than moving the icon to a new spot. Not much faster, but a little. Less clicks involved for sure.

well what do you know, it really works. just QL alone with the settings he gave in page one will work

And by the way I now use QL as my left hot key to check weather and reset, hey it works for me

tried this work around... but it has not yet worked for me. I am getting tired so I am going to try again tomorrow... I will keep my fingers crossed tomorrow...

Finally, I got it working!!! I deleted it from my device then re-installed it-I also removed my email account and went through the set up wizard again(since the email settings have some effect on the app)--
