well, while we are trying to figure this out thought id let you know that people who tried loading the plugins cods from dm or bbsak experienced even more errors
are u on t-mobile by chance?
realy.... i was hoping to possibly find someone with the actual jar too... or maybe a link to the jar cause i have a program to download the install files so i can do an install of my SD card. also i am on VZW.
ima jus throw this out there but you have done bat pulls after u re-added ur new gmail account...only reason im throwing this out there is cuz when i installed .230 i got the gmail enhanced agreement page after i did my bat pull, not when i first loaded my os, so maybe it is installed after a boot-up,
this is assuming that u havent done battery pull after re-adding ur gmail account to ur bis
Re-downloading this will not work because the software is already loaded on your phone. It was nested in your OS. I initially learned this because I was trying to download the plugin and it kept erroring out. The reason BIS is sending you that link to download the plugin with your service books is because nobody is supposed to have 5.0 firmware yet![]()
In order to access the additional features you must use the gmail account specific icon rather than the combined message folder.
This is the menu in combined folder:
And this is the menu from the gmail specific icon:
You also have to read and agree to the EULA prior to the first use![]()
The only other possibility would be that since .230 was a hybrid/partial OS that the gmail utilities were somehow shrunk or removed. I cannot vouch for that since I'm on a Bold with a full 5.0 OS.
lol, hmm, any way to pull it up specifically?
hmmmm... another phenomenal idea... still diddnt work tho... bummer
and i am using the gmail specific folder... and i dont see that menu like you show... the pic i took was from the gmail specific folder
Go to the main messages folder > bb key > options and see if the gmail plugin is listed like this (if not you don't have it installed):
![]()
that sounds about right cause you have tabbed browsing and such too... right!?
