.230 with Missing Sync/Mac Snow Leopard

I had installed the fantastic .230 leak - it was wonderful while I had it!

I was unable to sync with my Mac using Missing Sync, as I kept getting Caught Exception errors (Controlled Access), and syncing stopped.

I then tried to installed BB Desktop Manager for Mac - another NO GO.

I eventually had to go back to Lyr's Hybrid 7v1. All is well, once again.

However, despite the fact that Lyr has put together one heck of a hyrbrid, this .230 is pretty nice. I'd like to go back to it if anyone has any ideas how to fix the syncing matter. Google sync DID work fine, but I couldn't get Tasks and Notes to sync which I need.

Any ideas?

Hmm this is a tough one since I dont sync with the PC like that or have a MAC, but I am sure someone will be able to help you.. JL where are you MACMAN

Pretty frustrating. Finally a nice OS structure, and I can't use it!

There are other (less significant) issues too, such as Pocket Informant give caught exceptions too, but these errors will surely disappear after Webis has time to play with OS 5.

Yeah pkasin,
Unfortunatley our resident Mac enthusiast JLevy is somewhat of a night owl. You could say he keeps the third shift so to speak.
I will be sure that he sees your thread and maybe he will have a suggestion or two for you.

Sorry to see that you are unable to take advantage of that .230 OS.

Until then, keep checking back in from time to time. If JLevy has a response, I would look for it in the late afternoon-evening hours.

May find that another member on the site might have some suggestions as well.

Too tell you the truth, and I'm merely speculating, it sounds like the software isn't compatible with the OS on the device.

hmmm I have a mac and was under the idea that we need a OS that is in .dmg format not .exe I dunno if this is what u mean but yeah im waiting for .dmg OS too

Sun I was more saying the bold portion up there. Sorry I figured the MissingSync was not 5.0 worthy but he couldnt get the BBDM for Mac to work.
