Thread: Wireless Disconnect Issue

Hi Fellow BOSers! Well here is something that I have trying to find an answer to but can not seem to find an explanation. Every time I connect my Storm to my Desktop PC it connects and detects fine. I noticed also that my wireless loses connection and reconnects to my router. It only does this when I connect my Storm to the PC. Any ideas on why it does this? Is it a setting on the Storm or the PC that I need to change? Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I don't have a big technical answer, but I believe it does this just to be on the safe side. It happens with my BlackBerry too. I find it rather annoying. You can always just go to manage connections and turn it back on.

This is for both of you... At any point, did you guys use the VZW tether option and have that installed on your puters?

I'm not on Verizon so no.

Yeah I have DUN set up but that's it.

Thanks. Its all good, my wireless adapter reconnects automatically if it detects disconnection. good to know.
