Thread: Landscape to portrait

I am running the V3 hybrid. Been having an issue going from landscape to portrait.
OK, it doesn't at all. I have to hit the call button then go to the home screen.
Any ideas?? This is the only complaint I have with this phone.

BTW, I "love" my Storm and this forum. You guys are great. And the 1st step is admitting you have an addiction. OK...so what if I'm addicted!!

Have you tried a couple of battery pulls, leave it out a minute but also give the os a little time to settle in

Very strange. One of the first times I have heard of this. DO what was stated above and get back to us.

I've seen this problem before.
You're gona have to reinstall the Hybrid and 114
One of the gt corrupted during install.

Will try the battery pull then the reinstall and let you know.

I did both the battery pull and the reinstall.
I still have this issue?
Any other ideas?

Did you remove the os completly from your desktop and reinstall
Control panel> add/remove programs>blackberry device software... remove should be a large file 130+ mb. Then reinstall it to the desktop? then to the bberry
NOTE: not the desktop software.

By any chance have you dropped the device?
