The concept is Great, but for me the bugs outweighed the gain. No camera didn't bitter me, but the
freezes, BeWeather issues, no meterberry, no appworld,etc...was too much for me...so back to 6v10. A better version is probably not far away...or a Storm2

I didn't even install it. I use my camera alot and all the apps mentioned above
plus facebook and Berrypopup. If I can't use those then I don't even want to try it. All those work great with 8.5 so I'll wait for them to get everything
straight. Really enjoy reading everyones comments about it, though.

While it sucks that the camera doesn't work, that is not enough for me to downgrade. I voted to stay with it.

    Smooth and fast
    Says 3G instead of 1XEV
    Flick Scrolling
    Threaded SMS
    Slacker Radio works PERFECTLY
    Good battery life
    Fast internet

MeterBerry doesn't work, though they just released a new version I have yet to test on .191 -- May solve that problem.
    No tabbed browsing
    No camera
    No BBM 5.0

Overall, the issues and bugs are not enough to keep me away. I rarely installed Facebook app on previous builds as it was a giant memory leak culprit. Having MeterBerry work would be nice, as well as having BBM 5.0, but still, not enough to keep me from this much nicer interface.
Apps: AddOnis, CopyAll, QuickLaunch, Slacker Radio, BeeTagg, SmrtGuard, GoogleSync

The lack of the camera is a killer for me. But I still loaded it up to play with it.

I love the build because it shows that RIM is FINALLY moving in the right direction. I am truly excited now for the upcoming builds.

NOW, if they could only figure out how to run applications off of the SD card, we would have a winner.

I'm keeping it! I've had none of the issues mentioned. No random reboots! Everything seems to work great for me. I never use the camera so that was not an issue for me. All the apps I use work fine. Yes I have a couple of bugs, such as the weather app not updating in themes, but that is easily resolved with a work around. Battery life and memory are outstanding! So for now I'm keeping it and loving it! Thanks BBOS for the leak!

Flick Scrolling & Threaded SMS & Lightening Fast!! Woooohooo!

I love .191 on my Storm. It's nice and quick, and even my brother wants .191 installed on his Storm.
Like eveyone else, Flick scrolling and threaded SMS/MMS, the new phone app layout and the overall performance; I can't get rid of those...

I with ya MarkD. My faith in RIM is being restored. 191 has its bugs yes, but man the finished 5.0 product is gonna be freakin sweet! Very excited that RIM is listening to its users instead of doing what they feel is best. There is a lot of things in this new OS that shows RIM has been listening/watching. The Mangage connection and clock hotspots are two examples of that. Theme makers started puting those in after the Plazmic release and RIM must have noticed.

I'm sticking with it. Although i'm noticing more and more that i'm kicking myself because the camera doesn't work. Flick scrolling and threaded sms are def. winners.

I will probably stay with 191. I was using 140, so I didn't really lose anything (except the camera) that I didn't already lose by going to 140. (I guess BBM5 also, but 4 works just fine)

191 has a few bugs here and there, but I think they are just minor annoyances. Not worth going back at this point. Maybe jlevy will get a hold of 222 soon. :P

I will be staying with the 191 after using multiple hybrids. I really like the feel of it. I will probably try out a couple of the hybrids just to see how they compare, but for now 191 is on my phone and I am loving it. I just would like to have my camera back

I'm new to blackberry, but so far, I like 191. I don't know if I'm just lucky, but my camera works--i have a tour, I don't know if ppl with issues have another bb. I do find new mssg alerts' bit quirky and hope that they are more stable in the official version. Love the threaded sms...

4.7 Had tons of issues... take .75 and compare it with 151 lol its like an Amish Man verse George Jetson

Now when I get a call coming in the people are on the other end actually going "Wow you picked up the phone quick" - pshhh no freezing since them .75 Years....

I easily compare this to XP > Vista Jump.... sure it has bugs but still very solid... but we all know Win7 is around the corner somewhere

I don't see this happening until they make a change to how the BB acts when you plug it into a computer. Since it maps the BB drive and the SD card making them inaccessible to the BB while it's connected to the computer, it would probably cause other problems if the apps couldn't access the SD.

Well, I was about to say that I was probably going to downgrade back to BBC8.5, but then I stumbled on something I hadn't noticed before... Using the standard lock to lock the phone used to take upwards of a second and a half, sometimes more. Now it's nearly instantaneous. Unlocking is similarly improved. The BerryWeather icon not updating is a drag, and the camera is a minor nuisance, but the across the board improvements make this a really tough choice...

Just like you, I'm caught in between. I love the speed & the new options, but miss my FB app. I'm hoping I don't miss anything by not having a camera.
