Thread: Auto dim on 5.0

Ever since loading 5.0.140(now .191), i've noticed that every time I rotate to landscape the screen dims. Not a huge thing but kind of annoying. Anyway, I just went into screen/keyboard settings. Auto dim was set to "off". Changed to "on" then back to "off" again. Saved settings and it hasn't dimmed since. Only been a few minutes though. We will see if it lasts.

Yeah its a bug. And a very annoying one at that.:crazy:

Nate was right, it is a bug but if it does come back, do the same thing you did but this time and I hate to say this but do a battery pull to be sure and then see if this resolves your issue.

It was one of the things that annoyed me about 5.0.0.140, along with the excessive reboots, the RIM developed apps and some others not working, and the notification bug to name a few
