Thread: How do I download photos?

I have some pictures on my desktop I would like to put on my Storm. When I go to DM, my Media Manager icon doesn't highlight? and is unresponsive.
I'm sure there is a simple way to transfer photos to the Storm. Is there something I need to install to DM to have it get the pictures?

Hello painlessone, and welcome to BBOS
The easiest way to add pictures to your storm is this.

1. Plug your Phone into your PC
2. On your PC navigate to C\J:\home\user\pictures (J is just a letter that your PC designates to your Storm. Could be any letter)
3. Drag whatever pictures you want into that folder.
4. Unplug your phone and you pictures are now there.

I tried that, but with my Storm connected, My computer/ C: has the Storm 9530 listed at the bottom. When I drag the photos over, I get the circle with the diagonal line running thru it and it won't do the transfer?

I figured it out...I had to create a folder on the media card called pictures or whatever, first to be able to drag the photos over and have them transfer. Thanks

Great. The path I gave you was to put them directly on the phone. I don't have a card, I kinda "disappeared". (note: never try doing a battery pull drunk in a bar..lol)
