Thread: Screen on storm staying on, killing battery

I have been having a problem every once in a while where my screen will go dim then about 30 seconds later it comes back on for no reason. I thought maybe it was a OS problem but it has persisted through different ones I have had. I also tried disabling stormslider since it would sometimes come on and stay on when that program kicked in but in the past few days its to the point where it will just stay on all the time. Anyone have any problems like this before?

Welcome to BBOS!!! I have heard of such issues....at this point I believe it's a hardware problem and your best bet would be to do a warranty exchange.

What OS are you using?

Sorry for the delayed response,have been at work .I am using 5.0 right now but it has done this with .151 all the different hybrids just seems to come and go. I was hoping this was something other than a hardware issue so I did not have to deal with yet another storm exchange ,but oh well heh.
